Texas Cave Map Collection

The Texas Speleological Survey proudly announces the Map Collection.
The Map Collection (formerly: "Map CD") is an ever-evolving work containing the most complete set of cave maps in the TSS files at the time of purchase.
The first Map CD contained over 1160 maps; the current collection (2018) has 1766 cave maps from 56 Texas counties (organized in folders by county), plus a spreadsheet listing maps, counties, and file sizes! All maps are 300 dpi TIFF files; approximately ¼ of the maps included in the Map Collection have been cleaned up and are immediately ready for use in trip reports, grotto programs, etc. "Fair use" permission is granted for such uses. The Map Collection contents are copyrighted by the TSS to prevent unauthorized duplication, reproduction, and circulation.
This publication was made possible by individuals who donated their maps and data to the TSS archives; the collection continues to grow and improve as volunteers digitize and clean up additional maps. Additional donations of material and time are greatly appreciated.
When purchased, you will be given an access code for a limited-time download. You will be asked to provide an email address.

Testimonials –

"This is probably one of the greatest contributions to Texas caving that I can imagine (short of massive land purchases). Thank you and all of the other TSS officers and volunteers who put in the countless long hours to make this happen. Please pass along my thanks and respect to all involved with this project. I will be ordering my copy shortly. ~ Alan Blevins"

"I have been perusing this CD since I bought Serial #2 from TSS at the 2007 TSA Spring Convention. Simply put, this is an AMAZING resource and the quality and variety of the maps is incredible. It is so easy to find a cave on this and examine details that haven't been available on other cave maps. I just now viewed a map of Gorman Cave that I had never seen before that was drafted by Mike Warton. It's also cool to look at the rough drafts of the caves and compare them to the finished maps. In closing, this is a vital resource to anyone who caves and the amount of info here for only $10 is mind-boggling."
